WYATT-LORENZ,
LLC
Wyatt-Lorenz was founded as a spin-off
of Wyatt Technology Corporation
("WTC") with a unique mission: To provide immediate
bioterrorism bioagent warning systems
for the protection of people and property from biological
and chemical threats. These Bioterrorism threats are often
directed toward elements of the private sector long ignored
by the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland
Security. Such elements include shopping centers, public
buildings, convention centers, airports, performing arts
centers, movie theaters, airplane cabins, stadiums, and
many others.
The need for immediate
Biodefense warning systems cannot be overemphasized
as they are essential to reduce significantly the level
of casualties and property loss following a bioterrorist
attack. The importance of such systems was emphasized in
a 1959 brochure
prepared by the then Department of Health Education
and Welfare, and largely ignored during the intervening
60 years.

Public protection from biological and chemical bioweapon
threats is extremely important for our nation and its emphasis
on Homeland Security. Wyatt-Lorenz will provide the
only Biowarfare
detection and aerosol hazard monitoring system that
detects a BW bioterrorist attack as it is occurring.
It will provide this defense protection while maintaining an
extremely low rate
of false alarms.
The Wyatt-Lorenz sensing system will
monitor the airborne aerosol environment constantly to determine
whether a biological terrorist BW attack is in progress.
This system implements a
network of sensors to provide immediate detection and
warnings of bio-terror attacks with an objective of
reducing or eliminating the impact of bioagent acts.
In addition, the company also intends
to manufacture and sell specialized tools to be used for
detection and remediation of bio-hazards and forensic purposes following
any such terror attacks.
The key emphasis of the Wyatt-Lorenz
sensors system is to protect the lives and property of those in
the immediate area of a biowarfare attack. This is
done by minimizing target
exposure to bioagents through immediate warnings that
will facilitate the most effective evacuation strategy and
routing for those present and in danger from biohazards.
Other Company BW systems provide for the rapid remediation
of contaminated area.
