Biological threat detection and Immediate Warning System

Goals for Wyatt-Lorenz

Wyatt-Lorenz is working to complete the fabrication and test of its integrated systems and begin manufacture and preparation for its planned beta site testing and confirmation programs. Beta confirmation tests are planned for four locations one of which will permit use of certain biological agents while the other three will rely on suitable simulants. These beta tests will be completed within six months of site placement before the end of 2008. Early adopters will be identified.

Near term plans  -  Wyatt-Lorenz’s technological base was developed over the past 20 years by its parent company,
Wyatt Technology Corporation.    Wyatt-Lorenz was spun off formally from its parent in 2006 and intends to use WTC staff on a subcontract basis to speed up its technical plans. By making immediate use of the WTC highly skilled engineering and manufacturing staffs, W-L will accelerate its production and testing programs while enjoying the economies of smaller staffs during its build-up. While accelerating its manufacturing and laboratory activities, W-L thus will be able to complete the long term financial base needed for its planned placement programs.

Potential initial adopters, following completion of the beta testing programs, have shown strong support of the Company’s system leasing direction. Such adaptors will minimize their financial commitments while enjoying all the benefits of the only state-of-the-art immediate warning systems for biological agent intrusions.

The Company is in discussions with several targeted firms for potential cooperative associations. Although the Company’s immediate warning systems are without peer, detailed laboratory “wet chemistry” determinations will be required following detection to generate epidemiological and infectivity data to initiate early remediation and treatment activities.
